We love the vintage look and our favourites BHLDN have once again put together a gorgeous collection of vintage style accessories and gowns. The website is really inspirational with ideas for hair and makeup as well as beautiful photography.

Cake Toppers

With the right styling you can turn anything into a stunning and individual cake topper that reflects the mood of your wedding. We've found some images that vary from simple to quirky but this is definitely the tip of the iceberg, with a plainly decorated cake as a base and using some imagination and creativity is all it takes to create a showstopping cake.

We think this sweet packaging from Happy Lab is brilliant! Sadly based in Australia and not easily available to us here, we are inspired to create our own even if it means being reminded of the dreaded science lessons at school!

Book Report

To indulge in our passion for flea markets without spending a fortune we decided to expand our library and get some gorgeous books to inspire us. 

Flea Market Style by Chalmers & Hanan is perfect as its images and styling are beautiful. Sadly it leaves us wanting to shop even more after seeing all the treasures just waiting to be found!  

 From the same collaboration as the above Flea Market Style, this book, Modern Vintage Style shows a fantastic collection of room sets from a specific style view point.

It also has some handy tips on how to achieve certain looks and feels in your own interiors.

We hope you enjoy these books as much as we do.

A firm favourite here at Nikkabelle is the store RE, with such an eclectic mix of product for sale its impossible not to be completely charmed.

Find them in Corbridge in the North East or in Liberty in London and buy all those things you didn't even know you needed!

After seeing this stunning table on a blog by Amy Atlas, and seing this great pic on the Wedding Magazine website we've decided to indulge in our love of balloons. These oversized, round balloons look great on their own or floating in a cluster.
